We know that fibrinogen is a major blood clotting factor. The effect of raised fibrinogen and platelet count make the blood stickier than normal condition. Extra cholesterol, fat make plaque .Plaque narrows arteries. when stickiness of blood is increase, the flow of blood is decrease through constrict/ narrows arteries and blood forms clot that results blocked artery. When we inhaling tobacco, carbon monoxide of tobacco binds easily with hemoglobin then oxygen. This effect reduces the blood ability to carry oxygen.
